Manulife IM appoints new global marketing strategy head

Manulife Investment Management (IM), the asset management arm of the Canadian insurer Manulife, has appointed two new senior marketers.

Anna Havens started in the role of Global Head of Marketing Strategy in February.

She joins the company from John Hancock Investment Management, where she was Head of Marketing Operations for Wealth and Asset Management in the US and Europe.

Before that her experience was in agencies, including Hill Holliday and pja, as well as consultancy EMI Strategic Marketing.

Manulife IM has also appointed Nicola Walthew as Head of Institutional Marketing for EMEA and Asia. She started the London-based role in March, moving internally from a role as Head of EMEA Marketing.

Prior to this, she worked for 15 years at Insight Investment and nearly six years at M&G.
