Nationwide has hired a Lloyds exec with agency leadership experience as a new senior marketer.

Richard Warren started the role of Director of Brand, Marketing and Experience in September.

He joins from Lloyds Banking Group where he was Director of Marketing Communications for over five years.

Prior to that, he was head of various agencies, including GreenhouseGroupM and Mullen Lowe Group UK.

He joins after the mutual launched a refresh of its brand in March under CMO Catherine Kehoe, whose appointment was announced last year. She joined the building society after 15 years at Lloyds Banking Group, where she was most recently Chief Customer Officer.

JPMorgan Chase recently hired Nationwide’s former Marketing Director Anna Bentham to lead marketing strategy for Chase UK, the digital bank.
