Artemis Investment Management has hired a new Head of Channel Marketing with experience of marketing at multiple asset managers.

Nambia Ferguson began the role in March, joining from her previous role as VP of Marketing at Nomura Asset Management.

Prior to this she worked for eight years at Legg Mason, where she moved from a marketing manager role to head up UK channel marketing.

“I am delighted to have joined a highly reputable active manager like Artemis,” she said on the move. “I am looking forward to collaborating with the marketing team, and all involved, to develop and drive effective marketing programmes that help support our growth plans and deliver on our strategic initiatives and goals.”

Artemis is a UK-based asset manager with £25.6 billion in AUM (as of February). Named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, it is known for its “profit hunter” brand. The Marketing Director since 2010 has been Caroline O’Donnell.
