Schroders Personal Wealth poaches Barclays exec for transformation role

Schroders’s wealth joint venture with Lloyds has hired a Barclays exec for the newly created role of Head of Transformation.

Paul Greenwood will be responsible for driving transformative change across Schroders Personal Wealth, reporting to Chief Technology Officer Graham Bastin.

He will have accountability for planning, implementation and management of change initiatives, as well as building the framework for delivering change and benefit realisation.

Paul has over two decades’ experience at Barclays, most recently as MD for Transformation of Technology Service Management.

In these roles he was responsible for leading enterprise-wide strategic changes, including transformations in technology, infrastructure, service management, resilience and cyber security.

Graham Bastin said: “This is a great hire for SPW and we are delighted to be welcoming someone of Paul’s calibre to the business. We are looking to make some exciting changes in technology and Paul will be fundamental in leading these. His experience in transformation change will be invaluable as we as we continue on our growth journey.”
