Royal London promotes Standard Life vet to Marketing Director

Royal London has promoted Standard Life veteran Anthea Christie to Marketing Director.

Anthea started at the firm in August 2022 as Customer Insight Director before moving to her current role in February.

She brings experience from a number of major names in wealth management and pensions. Immediately prior to this role she was Head of Marketing Communications at M&G Wealth for nearly three years.

She worked at Standard Life UK for 18 years in a range of product marketing roles, with interim roles as Head of Workplace Marketing at the then-Standard Life Aberdeen and as Head of Retail Marketing at Aegon.

She also led her own consultancy firm for six years.

February also saw M&G Investments appoint Laura Brown as Global Marketing Director.

Laura has over 16 years at M&G, specialising in strategic planning, communications, marketing and market intelligence.
