Robeco appoints new global marketing head

Robeco has appointed a long-time insider and BlackRock veteran as its new Global Head of Sales & Marketing.

Malick Badjie has worked at the firm in various sales and distribution roles for six years. He has been doing the role on an interim basis and will now take it on permanently.

He has worked for over 20 years in the asset management industry in both sales and investments, including as a partner at sustainable investor Silk Invest.

From 2003 to 2013 he worked at BlackRock, where he held various roles in sales leadership, product management and relationship management.

Robeco has €181 billion in AUM, with a particular focus on sustainable investing, with a range of propositions across quant, thematic, credit and emerging markets.
