Wealth manager Arbuthnot Latham has appointed a new Head of Marketing, who brings experience from major wealth management names.

Chris Dean was most recently Head of Marketing for nearly eight years at atomos wealth, formerly Sanlam Wealth.

While there Christ oversaw the firm’s rebrand in September 2022, which followed the acquisition of the Sanlam brand by Oaktree Capital Management. At the time he commented that the industry often comes across as “homogeneous” and the rebrand was a change to be a “much braver brand”.

Prior to atomos, he worked for five years at Rathbones, including three years as Head of Communications. He also worked at PR agency Lawson Dodd and as a press officer at the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

“I’m very pleased to join Arbuthnot Latham as head of marketing,” Chris commented. “It’s a great company and believes in building meaningful and long-term relationships with its clients. I’m looking forward to bringing my skillset to bear to help build the Arbuthnot Latham brand and support its commercial objectives.”
