Admiral has used a tie-in with Hollywood to launch its new pet insurance product.

Admiral Pet is designed to disrupt the pet insurance market with new features, including an online service which allows customers to speak to a vet 24/7, as well as the option to ensure all pets on one policy.

While Admiral previously sold pet insurance through third parties, the new offering will all be handled in-house. The new pet product will sit alongside Admiral’s existing products in Motor, Home and Travel Insurance.

The company undertook several activities to promote the launch, mainly focused around partnering with Warner Brothers for the release of recent film release DC Super-Pets.

This included three separate competitions offering the chance to win the likes of tickets to screenings and cinema vouchers.

There was also promotional activity across all of the company’s channels including various pages on our site, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and emails sent out to customers.

Pritpal Powar, Head of Pet, said, “I’m really excited to have reached this milestone, this is the culmination of so much hard work from so many people across the business!

“I truly believe we have built a fantastic range of products and services that will deliver great value for our customers and continue to build on the foundations of what has made Admiral a leader across our flagship products. I can’t wait to continue building and improving the business as we grow!”
