Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) has appointed a new UK marketing head.

Karolina Diebra took on the London-based role in April.

She joins as part of UBP’s acquisition of Swiss private bank Kleinwort Hambros, a Swiss private bank. She worked there for nearly 11 years, most recently as Head of Marketing.

Prior to that she worked in product roles at Standard Chartered Bank and in Societe Generale’s corporate and investment banking division.

UBP has 150 billion CHF in AUM, offering asset and wealth management services to both private and institutional clients. The UK operation is its biggest outside Switzerland, and was significantly strengthened by its acquisition of Kleinwort Hambros.
