State Street has hired a new Global CMO as it looks to evolve its client engagement and brand strategy.

Dipti Kachru started the role in June, joining the asset manager’s executive committee. She is a specialist in marketing transformation with over 20 years’ experience.

She most recently held the position of CMO at investment management technology provider Broadridge for four years, in that time leading global marketing and corporate communications. The role saw her developing the firm’s brand strategy and building a digital, data-driven marketing function.

Prior to this, she spent two years at CMO at JP Morgan’s wealth management arm and a further six years in wealth management roles at the consumer bank Chase.

Jörg Ambrosius, President of Investment Services, wrote on LinkedIn: “She joins us at a pivotal time as we continue to evolve how we connect with clients, amplify our brand, and drive growth globally.

“Dipti will continue to put clients at the centre of our approach to how we engage with the market, leveraging data and the connections between all our businesses to tell our story.”
