Skipton Building Society has launched its latest advert spotlighting its Founded on Fairness brand platform.

The light-hearted ad shows a coffee shop customer finally cashing in his loyalty card, to be given a disappointing “reward” by a barista played by actor Simon Farnaby. This is contrasted with the experience of Skipton customers, exemplified by the member-exclusive savings rates.

Skipton partnered with creative agency Red Brick Road on the ad, as well as Knucklehead and Epoch Films.

Matt Davis, Owner and ECD of Red Brick Road, said: “It’s a known truth that customer loyalty often feels taken for granted, especially in financial services. So, we’re proud to help Skipton reset the balance with this new execution. Skipton really do believe in rewarding their members and this next instalment of the Founded on Fairness campaign brings this to life in our funniest execution yet.”

The UK’s fourth largest building society, Skipton launched the Founded on Fairness platform in 2025. The platform aims to tap into Skipton’s position as a building society and a fairer alternative to high-street banks.
