Schroders Wealth Management has hired a new Global CMO as part of a raft of new appointments.

Paul Fletcher will start in the role in November, leading the firm’s global marketing teams to position the brand in the UK and internationally.

He joins from Aviva, where he spent nearly three years as Customer and Marketing Director for UK and Ireland Life.

Before that, he was at NatWest Group, first as Head of Marketing at the private bank Coutts and later as Marketing Director for all of NatWest’s wealth businesses, encompassing Coutts, Premier and Invest.

His career spans over two decades in financial services, also including time at London & Capital, Deutsche Bank and UBS Investment Bank.

Paul is an advocate of agile, a less hierarchical and more flexible approach to organisational structures, which he implemented both at Aviva and NatWest.

The news came as Schroders Wealth Management announced several other new appointments, three months on from the appointment of J.P. Morgan veteran Oliver Gregson.

The business has £121.3bn in AUM as of 2024.
