Schroders has launched a major new campaign focusing on active investing, after appointing a new Head of Marketing for the UK from within its ranks.

Launched in June, the integrated campaign talks about “The Active Edge“, highlighting how the asset manager can spot opportunity in volatile markets.

“In these dynamic times, our deep expertise in active management empowers us to navigate volatility and uncover opportunities that others may overlook,” the asset manager commented on LinkedIn.

The news comes as 80% of investors said in a major Schroders survey that they were somewhat or significantly more likely to increase their use of actively managed investment strategies in the year ahead.

The asset manager also appointed a new UK Head of Marketing recently. Lisa Ferris began the role in May, moving from her previous role of Head of Investment Trust Marketing, which she had held for three years.

Prior to starting at Schroders, Lisa worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where she spent nine years in Marketing Manager roles for Investment Trusts and Wealth Management.

She also spent nearly seven years as Marketing Manager for the Co-operative Bank, developing and delivering brand strategy.

Schroders has £778 billion in assets under management.
