Royal London has appointed a new interim Marketing Director for the UK, bringing experience from M&G, Aegon and Sainsbury’s Bank.

Hillary Williams took on the role in February, a position which she also held from August 2024 to March 2025.

From 2019 to 2023, she worked at M&G in the position of Global Brand and Marketing Director, having started as interim Brand and Marketing Director at Prudential in 2017, and then becoming interim CMO when M&G and Prudential merged.

Previous roles included establishing and leading the D2C marketing function at Aegon as Customer Marketing Director from 2013 to 2016, and six years as Marketing Director at Sainsbury’s Bank prior to this.

Royal London is the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment company, with £199 billion in assets under management.
