RBC BlueBay has appointed a new Marketing Director, bringing experience from within and outside the asset management sector.

Sarah Freeland took on the position in February, having been at the firm for seven years in various digital and marketing roles.

Prior to this, she worked as Digital Marketing Manager at Investec for eight years, as well as holding positions at gambling company Lucky8bet and portfolio management service iProfile.

She also previously held positions at agency Quirk eMarketing and ForwardSlash.

RBC BlueBay was formed from the merging of RBC Global Asset Management and BlueBay Asset Management in 2023, after RBC bought BlueBay in 2010. It offers products across convertibles, investment grade debt, emerging market debt, leveraged finance, multi-asset credit and securitised credit.
