Rathbones has hired a BNY exec to head up marketing for asset management.

Charlotte Lamb started in the role of Head of Asset Management, Intermediaries and Charities Marketing in January.

Her last role was as SVP for Digital and Demand Generation at BNY, where she worked for four and a half years. Her role focused on developing a demand generation programme to transform the marketing function intro a more data-driven operation and enhance the relationships between marketing and sales.

Prior to BNY, she worked as Head of Wholesale Marketing, EMEA and LatAm at Janus Henderson Investors.

Before that she worked for five years at Natixis Investment Managers and nearly four years at M&G.

“There is a real buzz of excitement around the business and I am looking forward to getting to know the team and to delivering some great work,” Charlotte commented on LinkedIn.

Rathbones has also hired Kim Nelson, formerly at Schroders, as a new business development director to head asset management distribution in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
