Private equity firm EQT Group has hired a new marketing head for Europe.
Hannah Bouverat started the position of Head of Marketing, EMEA, in May. She joined from J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she held the same position for just under three years.
Prior to that, she worked for seven years at independent investment manager Wellington, where she was most recently Marketing Director for Europe.
“EQT Group has built an exceptional reputation for long-term thinking, innovation and partnership, and I am thrilled to join such a talented team at a pivotal time for the business and the industry.
“After three years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, I start my new journey and am excited to join my new team and business partners to build upon the marketing strategy in the region, helping to drive business growth, deepen client engagement and pave new ways forward within the client experience.”
With around €270 billion in AUM, EQT Group provides exposure to private equity, investing in companies that aren’t traded on public stock exchanges. Traditionally selling solutions to institutional investors, private markets firms have not previously focused on building brands as the same way as mainstream asset managers, but are having to consider how to do so as they increasingly target a wider base of investors such as wealth clients and pension funds.
