Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) has appointed a long-time company insider to head a newly established consumer division of marketing.
Chris Davis-Coward took on the role of Director and Head of Consumer Marketing in January.
In the role, he leads a full funnel team, partnering with the executive leadership team of the consumer business. He advises on the marketing strategy to realise the commercial goals of the business.
In this position he oversees the full marketing stack and full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, deepening and retention.
Previously Chris was Head of Marketing for the consumer business within the group, leading a team of 121 marketing professionals and covering products, propositions, segments, channels and customer support.
His previous roles at the group, spanning over 18 years, include positions across B2B marketing strategy, insurance marketing communications and brand and campaign management.
LBG has several consumer-facing brands, including the bank Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, Halifax and pension provider Scottish Widows.
The brand launched its latest brand position, ‘Lloyds Moves Everyone Forward’, in early October.
