Leeds Building Society has appointed a new Head of Marketing from within its ranks.

The UK’s fifth biggest building society has promoted Rebecca Dye to the position of Head of Brand & Marketing. She had previously been Head of Brand since 2022.

Before starting at Leeds Building Society, Rebecca spent over a year as Head of Brand at insurer Hiscox.

Her longest tenure was at HSBC-owned first direct, where she spent nine years, most recently as Head of Brand and Customer Communications. Before this, she worked in online retail and the cinema industry.

The chief marketer at Leeds Building Society is Director of Brand & Marketing Nikki Dixon, who started the role in 2023. In October 2024, the mutual launched a new brand platform with the strapline ‘It’s better to belong.’
