Julius Baer has appointed a UBS veteran as its new Global Head of Brand & Marketing.

Winfried Daun took on the role at the Swiss wealth giant in February, joining from rival Swiss financial services group UBS.

He had worked at UBS for 19 years across multiple marketing and brand roles, most recently as Global Head for Group Brand, Creative and Innovation.

Prior to this he worked at consultancies BBDO and PWC.

Julius Baer manages assets worth around £491 billion, operating in over 60 locations across 23 countries, including the UK.
