Boutique asset manager Goodhart Partners has hired two former Jupiter Asset Management execs to lead its marketing.

Marcus Bolitho and Will Gold have now become Head of Marketing and Head of Investment Marketing respectively at the firm. Founded in 2009, Goodhart specialises in global equities.

The duo, who set up marketing consultancy Bold Partners at the end of last year, previously held the positions at Jupiter of Global Head of Marketing and Head of Investment Marketing respectively. Both previously also worked at Old Mutual Investors/Merian.

Marcus Bolitho added: “Opportunities to help build truly distinctive asset management firms from the inside are rare. In Goodhart, I believe both Will and I can contribute meaningfully to the development and growth of a firm with the potential to meet a very clear need in the marketplace, namely for a truly agile, forward-looking approach to investment.”

Will Gold concluded: “I have been hugely impressed by the whole Goodhart team, with each individual exuding deep expertise, enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity. I firmly believe that this will be a crucial combination of qualities if investors are successfully to navigate a much more challenging and uncertain landscape.”
