Barclays has hired a new CMO for its Private Bank and Wealth Management division, who brings experience from the hedge fund and asset management worlds.

Anji Kang-Stewart started in the role in January, joining from Man Group, where she had been Global Head of Marketing for five years.

Prior to Man Group, she worked at Wellington Management as Head of EMEA and Global Wealth Marketing, and before this was Director of Marketing at Neuberger Berman.

“I’m excited to begin this next chapter, partnering with Wayne Hawkes and the wider Barclays team to help shape the future of the business,” she commented on LinkedIn. “I’m particularly looking forward to working with the marketing team – building on the strong foundations already in place, fostering creativity and collaboration, and continuing to elevate how we connect with clients and stakeholders globally.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Barclays PBWM and I’m energised by the opportunity to contribute, learn, and lead alongside such a talented group of individuals.”
