DIY investment platform AJ Bell has hired a new Marketing Director for its advised business, bringing experience from Quilter and Aegon.

Jeremy Mugridge joined the firm this month, where he is working with the product and sales teams to build a marketing strategy for AJ Bell’s advised products such as Investcentre, Custody Solutions and Touch. He will also work with the Investments team to promote its solutions for advisers and their clients.

Jeremy joins the firm after nearly eight years at Quilter, most recently as marketing director. While at the wealth manager, he set up its behavioural science practice, which included building a toolkit to help its advisers comply with the FCA’s consumer duty. He had previously worked at Quilter in digital marketing roles from 2007 to 2012.

He also brings experience from Aegon, Zurich and Cofunds.
