AIG appoints new UK marketing director

AIG has appointed a new Director of Marketing for the UK, bringing experience from Intact and Zurich.

Gareth Hawkes took on the position at the insurer in May. He joins from Intact Insurance UK, formerly RSA, where he spent six years in various marketing roles.

Prior to that he worked at Towergate Insurance for two years and Zurich for over 11 years.

AIG has operated in the UK for over 70 years as a general insurance provider, specialising in commercial and personal insurance.
