You may notice Argent is looking a little different this month. We’re delighted with our new look, and would like to thank Turtl,who are behind the software that has enabled us to bring Argent back to its roots, albeit in an online rather than paper format.
Inside this new edition you’ll find ’60 Seconds’ – a popular article from the original journal. It asks Members to give us their views on a hot topic. This month, we asked if long-term brand building is suffering at the hands of having to focus on short-term initiatives with demonstrable results. Thank you to everyone who gave us their views. Have a read and tell us what you think in our interactive poll.
You’ll also find some other old favourites, including Meet the Marketer and Lucian Camp’s Financial Word, where he asks if disruptor brands have gone far enough with their advertising to be truly disruptive. In addition, there is an article from Andy Dexter at MESH Experience. He discusses brand purpose, and why it’s so important to understand how your customers and prospects actually feel about your brand. Lots of food for thought and helpful insight.
In other news, it has been a busy and eventful time for The Forum. We recently sent you an email about our acquisition by Incisive Media. We’re already settling into our new office surroundings in Covent Garden, and enjoying getting to know our new colleagues. Being part of the Incisive family will bring The Forum new opportunities to deliver even more for our Members, and we’re looking forward to this new chapter.
