The Knowledge Graph is an ambitious knowledge based project launched by Google in 2012 aimed to enhance its search results with a move into "semantic search" delivering a greater depth of information giving us a clear glimpse of how search will evolve in the future. The knowledge graph provides structured and detailed information about the topic in addition to a list of links to other sites. The goal is to provide searchers with a great depth of information to answer a broader scope of queries without the searcher having to navigate to other sites and assemble the information themselves.
