In the two decades since its launch, The Financial Services Forum has supported the improvement of financial services marketing, through a better understanding of the consumer, the marketplace, and marketing performance.
The importance of innovation in financial services, and its vital role in engaging with and empowering customers in the future, has gained increasing momentum. So too with marketing – technology, data capture, analytics, multi-channel, the rise of specialism, changes in departmental structures, evolving customer expectation and awareness, and brand authenticity have become increasingly important in all marketing fields – and especially in financial services.
The new focus in these awards reflects the evolving nature of financial services itself, as it changes to meet new or continuing customer needs in the most efficient and effective manner. The name has changed, and the scope has been broadened, but the core focus of the awards – and of the Forum itself – is still the same: to recognise and celebrate the most effective examples of marketing innovation across the whole financial services industry.
