Sally Jacques

Sally Jaques is Head of Business Development at GoCompare and looks after the travel, pet and money comparison services for the business, amongst others. Prior to working at GoCompare, Sally worked for the National Union of Students (NUS) and was also part of the Senior Management Team at Cardiff University, where she was responsible for the development of the communications and marketing strategy.

Since working for GoCompare, Sally has been instrumental in developing its travel insurance comparison service. She is a firm believer that, after 2020, travel insurance will need to be fundamentally different and recognises that the industry has a huge challenge ahead to make sure that customers know what they’re buying - and that they have the right cover in place when they travel.

The Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit will mean huge changes for the way that we travel abroad from the UK, and Sally is passionate about making sure the industry meets these challenges and provides reassurance for customers looking for the right cover.

Sally is also a mum of three boys and usually spends her weekends supporting her sons at sports fixtures and trying to keep up with their food intake requirements.
