Matthew Conway

Matthew is responsible for developing and delivering the political and regulatory engagement strategy for UK Finance. He was previously head of group regulatory policy at Lloyds Banking Group, responsible for coordinating and supporting lobbying activities and horizon-scanning for regulatory developments. Prior to providing consultancy support to the Financial Conduct Authority, he led public affairs and aspects of spectrum policy at Ofcom, having started his career as a civil servant in a range of UK government departments including HM Treasury and the then Department of Trade and Industry.
