Lynda Blackwell

Lynda has been closely involved in developments in the mortgage market for over 25 years, starting in industry in pre-regulation days and then joining the regulator, where she worked on the introduction of statutory regulation in 2004. Lynda led the FCA’s Mortgage Market Review, a five-year-long comprehensive analysis and overhaul of the regulator’s approach to the mortgage market. Today, she is closely involved in the continuing evolution of the market as a Non-Executive Director of Molo, the UK’s first digital mortgage lender. A qualified solicitor, she also puts her extensive market and regulatory knowledge and experience to good use as a consultant through her consultancy firm, Thistle Dhu Consulting, continuing to support good innovation and best practice across the market.
