James has extensive experience working across of professional services companies as well as b2c companies, delivering brand identity and rebranding projects to digital and social media campaigning. James’s broad background across a range of earned, paid and shared media and advertising arenas means he always brings a creative eye and excitement to any client.

Having been a creative director and the communications industry for nearly twenty years, he started out studying International Studies at Stellenbosch University in South Africa and completed a post-graduate in Copywriting and Marketing Communications at the AAA school in Cape Town.

His work in London included stints at AOL and the Financial Times, before finally settling very happily into a creative role at working his way to senior writer, then Creative Director and finally Executive Creative Director. He leads the team of designers, copywriters, videographers and UX designers to deliver award winning differentiated communications that work internationally.
