Bill Hartnett

Bill has over 20 years’ experience in responsible investment & active ownership across roles in asset management, research and asset ownership. He is a widely respected industry leader with an exceptional, externally-awarded track record in developing and implementing industry leading RI and active ownership products and programs across all ESG domains and across all asset class. Immediately prior to joining ASI, Bill was for 9 years Head of Responsible Investment at Australian superannuation fund, Local Government Super (LGS). At LGS, Bill developed and implemented a comprehensive responsible investment program that had resulted in the fund being externally recognised as a leading fund in this field in Australia and globally, spanning across the entire spectre of ESG issues and with particular expertise in climate change.
Bill has Master of Environmental Management and Bachelor of Economics tertiary qualifications.
