European Executive Summits

Now in their sixth year, the events are designed to provide an opportunity for around 50 senior industry executives to spend time with their industry contemporaries focusing on the longer-term issues and challenges facing their industry.

The events comprise a series of formal presentations, discussions, debates, workshops and exercises. They generally start with breakfast at 7.30 and the formal agenda finishes around 5pm

The FS Forum’s appropriate steering group, in consultation with members and guests, creates the agenda.

Event content
In the current marketplace we try to leave setting the agenda until about three months before the event to ensure that it is topical and relevant.

For the sector specific events the agenda focuses on the key strategic business, marketing and operational issues facing the participants.

The June Marketing event focuses on marketing in its broadest context, market segmentation, product design, pricing, distribution, customer acquisition and retention and brand.

Event venue
The Summits take place at the Unisys International Management Centre (UIMC), in St Paul de Vence, an historic walled medieval town sitting in the hills above Nice.

The Management Centre is a purpose built centre with state-of-the-art conference
facilities, breakout rooms, 49 bedrooms, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis court.

St Paul de Vence has long been a centre of art, and the world famous Fondation Maeght gallery is about half a mile away.

Executive Summit participants
Attendance at the series of Executive Summits is free of charge, but strictly by invitation, and restricted to senior industry executives.

Most are either members of The Financial Services Forum or clients of Unisys, although invitations are occasionally extended to others within the FS industry.

There is no charge for the event. The UIMC provide transport from Nice airport (about 20 minutes away), accommodation and meals.

Partner programme
Participants are very welcome to bring their partner. Partners join us for meals and our evening activities, such as a visit to the nearby St Paul de Vence.

During the day we organise excursions to nearby places of interest (such as Nice, Monte Carlo or Grasse). For the less adventurous there are sun loungers by the pool …
